Absolutely not. Whether they are an extroverted skateboarder or a quiet as a mouse bookworm, there is beauty in all the girls I photograph.

Your girl/s will never feel awkward or pressured to be anything other than themselves. The photographs will capture natural, unguarded moments, whatever they are doing.

Once I have met you and your girl/s and understood their personalities, we can all decide on a suitable location and how the photos might be captured. Whether it’s watching a sunset, practicing a dance routine, dressing up, sports, riding bikes, climbing trees, running, skipping, cuddling their beloved pet, chatting or nothing at all!

My Full Session fees cover areas within a 45 minute drive of Woking during peak times. If you are further afield than that we can still work together but there would be an additional charge to cover the time and costs of getting to you. Please get in touch to discuss this. Being based in Surrey these are the natural areas for me to promote my business however I can travel further afield when needed. It may be that we look to find a photoshoot location equidistant from us or I could come to you. My session fee would need to change to reflect my costs and time to get there and back. No. In my opinion a studio can make the experience too staged, unnatural or daunting for the subject.

No. I can also arrange sessions from after school, Monday – Friday.

Either at sunset or sunrise as this is when the best and most amazing light occurs. It depends on the time of year of your shoot but here’s a rough guide to the times you can expect, related to what season you book in:

Spring – as early as 6.30am and as late as 7pm
Summer – as early as 6am and as late as 8.30pm
Autumn – as early as 8am and as late as 4.30pm
Winter – as early as 8.30am and as late as 3.30pm

From experience these are the times of day that add a whole lot more magic to your photographs. I do not dictate this to clients though.

If it is heavily raining, your shoot will need to be rescheduled. Surprisingly though, cloudy days and snow can often create some amazingly unique shots, with heaps of character.

In short, not a lot but don’t worry. Once you have secured your booking we will arrange a time for your pre-session consultation and we will go over everything then.

Yes of course. This is entirely up to you and your girl/s. My service is designed to focus on capturing a girl’s character and personality – her interests, her quirks and how she expresses herself. If she likes wearing makeup and you are comfortable with that, then why stop her?

Yes of course but the main focus of the photoshoot will naturally be on your girl/s and their relationship with them. If you would like a family photoshoot instead, hop over to my family Photography site Jo Temple Photography

Yes but not in the way this question might suggest. I use Photoshop only to enhance light, sharpen details and compose an image in the best way possible. My purpose is to try and capture your girl’s character and prove that her true identity isn’t about her surface beauty. To change anything that related to her physical image in anyway would contradict this entirely.

Yes. The session fee needs to be paid up front but I’m happy to receive payments in three monthly instalments for the images and products that you choose. Full payment will need to be received before products and images can be handed over.

Of course! There’s a handy little share button in your online gallery, where you can share your gallery with any friends and relatives you like.  Once shared they can purchase any of the images and products.

Yes. I am fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
